Fashion Design:
Tuesday- Survey of interests and previous learning; Discuss quarter
Wednesday- Discuss survey results, Plan for 1st project; Video "Why We Wear What We Wear"
Thursday- Correct video worksheet, Watch video "Your Future in Fashion"
Friday- Discuss project ideas, show slide show of previous work, Do questions 13-17 at end of Chapter 2 and do terms worksheet.

Independent Living:
Tuesday- Intro to class, discuss LifeSmarts, play a game
Wednesday- Job Applications, find 1 online- print 2 copies and fill it out, start Paycheck worksheet
Thursday- Collect applications, finish worksheet
Friday- LifeSmarts quiz

Consumer Foods:
Tuesday- Survey, Who has apples or rhubarb or ________ to cook with?
Wednesday- Plan lab, watch "Bread Machine" video and do worksheet
Thursday-Cook
Friday-Warm, serve, eat

Teen Issues:
Tuesday- Brainstorm teen issues from own thoughts, magazines; compile list
Wednesday- Video "Teen Files: Surviving High School"; list issues discussed
Thurs- Continue video, discuss
Friday- Finish video ; discuss.



FCS 8:
Tuesday- Intro, discuss expectations and what is taught in 8th grade
Wed.- Discuss serving sizes, hand out food charts, fill in 2 school days and 2 non-school days; DUE Monday
Thursday- Fill in food charts, clarify how to figure serving sizes, start video "Supersize Me"
Friday- Go to computer lab to www.mypyramid.gov website for food analysis
