I am the Family and Consumer Science teacher at West Central Area Schools. My extra curricular responsibilities involve advising the FCCLA- Family Careers, and Community Leaders of American Chapter in our school. I started teaching in 1977 working half time in Kensington and half time in Hoffman as a long term substitute. The next Hoffman and Kensington paired, so there were changes. A few years later H-K paired with West Central, which included Elbow Lake and Barrett schools. Eventually we consolidated to create West Central Area Schools, which I am proud to be a part of. I believe that WCA school offers a quality education for all.
On a personal note, I am married to Dale Knabe and we farm near Kensington. We have three adult children; Corey, Casey, and Chelsey.
