Wednesday- Video "Your Future in Art"  Start thinking about quote for tile
Thursday- Environment perspective worksheet- discuss, Video "Why We Live Where We Live"
 Select colors for log cabin pillows
Friday- Video "Beautiful, Affordable"  list words describing the interiors in video

Teen Issues

Tuesday- Introduction, Brainstorm teen issues from own thoughts, magazines, compile list
Wednesday- Video "Smashed"  List name, describe accident, list long term effects
Thursday- Finish video and discuss
Friday- Video "Teen Files, Surviving High School" list issues discussed

Consumer Foods

Tuesday- Introduction, Survey, discuss cooking ideas, any donations of garden product or apples?
Wednesday- List apple recipes, find recipes in cookbooks, plan lab; cucumber or tomato ideas:
                  Bread Machine video and worksheet
Thursday- Bake with apples or rhubarb
Friday- Warm and eat baking; cucumber or salsa recipes?

Food Science

Tuesday- Introduction, Survey, discuss safety in labs and expectations, Read Chapter 1 together orally
Wednesday-Finish Chapter 1, do questions at end of chapter, Video "Nutrition Careers" list careers
Thursday- Prepare for chocolate chip cookie experiment, determine variables, fill out chart
Friday- Mix cookie dough, refrigerate

FCS 8

Tuesday- Introduction, Discuss safety and expectations, Discuss what is taught in 8th grade FCS,
Wednesday-Hand out food charts- fill in 2 school days and 2 non-school days, Discuss serving sizes, DUE Monday
                 Start watching "Supersize Me"
Thursday-Continue video
Friday- Finish Video and list health effects from eating habits.
