Thursday- Video "Create a Great Plate" and do worksheet

Textiles:
Tuesday- Survey of Textile skills, slideshow of projects done by other students.
Wednesday- Continue slideshow, start applique project- Word Banner
Thursday- Select fabric, trace letters onto Heat-n-Bond, cut, iron onto background
Friday- Demonstrate primitive stitch

Creative Foods:
Tuesday- Class survey- view pictures of creative uses of food
Wednesday- "Beauty & the Feast" video and worksheet
Thursday- Video "Create a Great Plate" and do worksheet
Friday- Bake cupcakes for Mix It Up Day, 3-2-1 Mug Cake


Child Development:
Tuesday- Survey- discuss expectations- look at videos of children "Charlie"- Discuss perspective on child development issues in video. Read Chapter 1 together.
Wednesday- Discuss Empathy Belly- go over forms for belly and babies. Do Childhood Memories worksheet.
Thursday-Watch Empathy Belly video. Collect Childhood Memories.
Friday- Do Chapter 1 worksheets- Occupational Interests, Thinking About Children, Development Characteristics

FCS 7:
Tuesday- Introduction to FCS- list 6 areas of FCS and tour of room
