Interior Design:
Tuesday- Intro, Syllabus, Survey, Look at project ideas
Wed.- Video "Why We Live Where We Live", Select colors for log cabin pillows
Thurs.- Environment perspective wksht, Select fabrics, Assign "Your favorite place" report
Fri.- Explain your favorite space, Video "Beautiful, Affordable" write words describing the interiors in video

Teen Issues:
Tuesday- Intro, Brainstorm teen issues from own thoughts, magazines, compile list
Wed.- Video "Smashed"- list name, describe accident, list long term effects
Thurs.- Finish video, discuss
Fri.- Video "Teen Files; Surviving High School"; list issues discussed

Consumer Foods:
Tuesday- Intro, Survey, Discuss cooking ideas; donate garden produce and apples
Wed.- List apple recipes, find recipes in cookbooks, plan lab; cucumber ideas
Thurs.- Bake with apples
Fri.- Eat apple food; cucumber prep

Food Science:
Tuesday- Intro, Survey, Read Chapter 1 together orally
Wed.- Finish Chapter 1, Do questions at end of chap. Video "Nutrition Careers" list careers
Thurs.- Prepare for chocolate chip cookie experiment, determine variable, fill out charts
Fri.- Mix chocolate chip cookie dough, refrigerate

FCS 8:
Tuesday- Intro, Discuss expectations and what is taught in 8th grade FCS, Serving sizes
Wed.- Hand out food charts, fill in 2 school days and 2 non-school days, DUE Monday,
Thurs.-Video "Supersize Me"
Fri.- Finish video and list health effects from eating habits.
